Kateřina is a designer whose work bridges tradition and innovation in glass and light. Her creations are defined by precision, playfulness and a sense of storytelling that turns materials into emotion.
Born into a family of glassmakers in Northern Bohemia, she grew up surrounded by the craft that would shape her career. After studying at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, she continued her development through residencies in Strasbourg and Eindhoven, refining her distinct approach to contemporary glass design.
Kateřina is an external designer for Kolektiv Ateliers and currently serves as Creative Director at Rückl. In 2024, she received the Czech Grand Design Award for Designer of the Year.
Her work reflects the balance between experimentation and heritage, a dialogue of light, form and craftsmanship.
