1930 by Etereo for Cosentino
Created in collaboration with Etereo for Cosentino, the lighting collection forms part of 1930, an immersive lounge presented at Downtown Design Dubai. Inspired by the elegance of Art Deco and the intimate character of 1930s private clubs, the installation brings together geometry, material and light in a contemporary architectural setting.
The collection includes bespoke chandeliers and lighting objects handcrafted using contemporary Czech glassmaking techniques. Ribbed and angular glass fins create crystalline forms that reveal changing reflections and layers as visitors move through the space.
Each element was developed in close collaboration with the design team, balancing precision, optical depth and material expression.
Collaboration was at the heart of the project. Working alongside Etereo and Cosentino, we developed lighting that became an integral part of the architectural concept, supporting its atmosphere, rhythm and material language from the first sketch to the final installation.
